Tax Manager, Tax Transformation

Tax Transformation is using digital technology to improve existing processes or change the way the Tax group operates. This position understands tax process, identifies pain points of the process, and solve the issues to Increase efficiency or eliminate unnecessary, time-consuming processes.  The position works with global tax functions and IT department to develop and implement new systems or new tools to achieve our goal.


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Assistance of the tax transformation project:
    • Gathering requirements, identifying fit/gaps, proposing solutions
    • Tax function assessments
    • Utilization of feedback to drive enhancements for a better user experience
    • Application deployment
    • Process improvement to increase operational efficiencies
    • Improvement of controls environment
    • Tax analytics and reporting enhancement
    • Emerging tax technology, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), cloud solutions, datamart development and business intelligence innovation
  • Assistance of critical operational tax issues and reporting issues for monthly closes
  • Continuous improvement efforts


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Power Automate, Power App, Power BI
    • SharePoint development
    • ETL/Data visualization/analytics (for example, Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik or Informatica)
    • RPA (for example, UiPath, BluePrism, or Automation Anywhere)
    • Experience as an administrator for Tax Reporting system (e.g.,One Source Tax Provision, Corp Tax, Oracle Tax Reporting Cloud, LongView, etc)
    • Administering Oracle EPM Cloud applications
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint



  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Public accounting or consulting firm working as a dedicated tax professional and/or
    • Corporate income tax provision
    • Tax return preparation and review
    • Working knowledge of US GAAP or US STAT income tax provision requirements
    • Income tax provision software (for example, OneSource Tax Provision, CorpTax, LongView, Hyperion Tax Provision, etc)
  • MA/MS in taxation desired, bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field
  • CPA desired
