Role Value Proposition:

This New York, North Carolina, or remote-based role is responsible for comprehensively supporting the Intelligence & Risk Assessment portfolio within the Global Corporate Security team to help the company manage risk, innovate, and build resiliency. It covers both qualitative and quantitative research and presentation of information and analysis. The role shifts frequently among multiple issues on both strategic and operational levels globally and involves partnership with numerous other positions and teams within Global Corporate Security, Global Technology & Operations, and MetLife at large. Responsibilities include the management of specific projects and relationships and constant evaluation and assessment of global developments and their impact on the company’s associates, sites, and operations. These requirements underpin a range of high-priority Global Corporate Security initiatives that will contribute to strategic enterprise efforts to simplify and differentiate.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Information collection, analysis, and writing in support of Intelligence & Risk Assessment function, including research reports and ad-hoc memos on global developments
  • Day-to-day management and troubleshooting of data-driven processes and projects and close coordination with data science and IT development teams
  • Lead role in developing GS capabilities in geospatial and mapping applications and producing finished graphic products
  • Lead role in identifying, evaluating, and managing the graphic display of I&RA data for different end user groups
  • Lead role in day-to-day monitoring and analysis of the geopolitics of cybersecurity in close coordination with ITRS team


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


  • Superior analytical, research, problem-solving, and writing abilities; demonstrated interest and effectiveness in monitoring, assessing, and summarizing international political and security issues in a business context
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn coding and quantitative methodologies and apply to corporate security information processes
  • Ability to manage specific project elements, take the initiative, and thrive independently once an assignment is introduced and reviewed
  • Ability to work and communicate clearly with senior colleagues and contribute to a dynamic team environment


  • Previous consulting or similar research-related professional and/or international experience
  • Proficiency with or willingness to research, learn, and apply web/cloud-based tech and methodologie
