Role Value Proposition: 

The Senior Marketing Consultant II, Integrated Brand Marketing is a strategic role that is responsible for assisting in the creation of innovative marketing campaigns for the MetLife Brand that drive customer engagement while achieving business goals.

 

Core responsibilities will focus on leading the development, execution and day-to-day management of campaigns for key group audiences (employers, brokers, employees) including creative development and integrated marketing initiatives. This individual will also be responsible for developing marketing strategies based off of business goals and consumer insights, creating communications strategies, creative briefs and creative development, assisting in campaign execution and optimization and overall measurement and reporting.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Develop integrated marketing campaign strategies aligned to U.S. business goals, brand positioning and specific business value props, for owned, earned and paid channels.
  • Collaborate with businesses on strategy, creative development and user journeys.
  • Develop creative briefs that bring audience insights to life while driving business goals.
  • Partner with creative agency creative and content needs. Oversee all aspects of creative production ensuring creative assets are in line with the campaign, delivered on time, on budget and on brand. 
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on planning, research and approvals including business partners, legal and brand review.
    • Incorporate data and research into creative development/optimizations including best practices, historical media results and artificial intelligence. 
    • Develop customer first messaging and communications, guiding all key stakeholders as needed.
  • Review campaign media plans, (channels could include OOH, Print, Digital, Video, Social, Search and Custom Programs) provide feedback on recommendations, ensuring it aligns with the campaign strategy, auditing plan for ad hoc assets and creative needs.
  • Collaborate with integrated marketing teams within MetLife (Product Marketing, Business Partners, Analytics, Digital, etc.) to coordinate campaigns and timely launch, optimizations and reporting.
    • Partner with creative & media agencies, and media partners, to stay up to date on placement creative best practices across the funnel
  • Become an expert on the MetLife brand tone of voice and visual guidelines. Develop and nurture relationships with global brand and other US businesses to understand where the brand is evolving and channel best practices across the business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • 5+ years of brand marketing experience with deep functional expertise including marketing strategy, campaign/media/communications planning, creative development, execution/production and in-campaign optimizations.
  • Understanding of a broad range marketing channels: traditional, digital, social, content, email and mail, collateral and website development.
  • Experience in developing innovative marketing strategies based on segmentation, consumer insights, and brand positioning with measurable in market success
  • Proven success of leading innovation from conceptualization to implementation for a large brand or portfolio of reputable brands
  • Working knowledge of analytics, measurement and reporting
  • Ability to develop and optimize fully integrated marketing strategy and plans across a large-scale enterprise organization
  • Ability to inclusively and pro-actively lead, influence and motivate individual contributors across a highly matrixes environment
  • Willingness to jump in to help cross-functional team deliver on integrated marketing work as needed

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • MBA or other advanced degree desirable.
