Role Value Proposition:  MetLife is leading the global transformation in its industry–in the IT Relationship Consultant role you can make bold moves to drive business success.  In this role, you will be a ‘trusted advisor’ to the Executive Group (White Glove) and next layer of MetLife executives (Grey Gove). The candidate will provide leadership and guidance by incorporating enterprise, business and vendor initiatives/needs within programs/projects, IT Risk support, BAU activities including support for issues and ad hoc requests, functionality enablement, and managing vendor IT performance metrics.  Identify and represent technological trends, leveraging potential impact on business strategies and objectives.  Develop and maintain positive client relationships, coordinating with various functions to ensure requests are handled appropriately.


Key Responsibilities:

·                 Provide end-to-end IT support to the Executive Group and next layer of executives

·                 Support the bi-monthly Board of Director meetings and other executive conferences

·                 Assist executives when traveling globally

·                 Manage the hardware inventory housed for the EG

·                 Maintains knowledge of industry trends and knowledge of risks, opportunities and services available to build a competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the EG 


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


·                 Strong knowledge of PC hardware and software; Windows, MS Office suite, MS Outlook

·                 Advanced knowledge of Apple products; iPhone, iPad

·                 Problem solving acumen

·                 Strong customer service orientation

·                 Flexible mindset to evaluate and prioritize work with sense of urgency

·                 5+ years industry experience – ideally in Financial Services, Insurance, Deskside support, Call Center

·                 IT vendor management


·         Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technology-related field
