Role Value Proposition:
The MetLife Corporate Systems - Global Compliance IT team is looking for a Functional Analyst to join an Agile delivery team building and deploying systems across the enterprise. You will partner with key stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with the Scrum Lead, Product Owner, and ART Leadership. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of systems used globally by MetLife associates and lines of business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in discovery sessions to observe, document, and validate business processes and capture key insights. Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions.
- Elicit, analyze, document functional requirements and rules.
- Create user stories and wireframes to conceptualize future states for user experience, new or enhanced services, and business cases. Define acceptance criteria.
- Design and create conversational experiences utterances, intents and entities
- Train the artificial intelligence by reviewing responses and providing consistent feedback
- Prepare technical user manuals, system configuration documents and other technical reports.
- Provide operational and production support with ability to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis in the business workflow and processes on a variety of production and application issues.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- Associates Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on relevant experience (functional analyst or business systems analyst)
- Experience creating requirements documentation: Use Cases, Features, & User Stories
- Experience performing data analysis (queries, excel, other tools)
- Experience in agile/scrum methodologies
- Problem analysis & resolution experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with focused attention to details, time/task management skills; ability to establish strong relationships.
Preferred:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years overall experience
- Working knowledge of AzDo, Jira or similar tool
- Experience working with global software development teams and third-party vendors
- Knowledge of Target Process
- Experienced in DevOps principles
- SAFe Agile or Scrum certification
- Experience with PowerApps / Power BI
- Knowledge of compliance technology is a plus (Actimize, Fiserv, Oracle WatchList Screening, Star Compliance,etc,)

The wage range for applicants for this position is $80,900 to $107,900. This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation.
