Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of highly skilled security analysts that maintain sophisticated cyber security platforms for use by the Security Operations Center (SOC). Architect, build and maintain SOCs Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform, QRadar on Cloud (QRoC) and other cybersecurity and incident response tools. Lead threat modeling, design use cases and create correlation rules for threat detection and regulatory compliance via SIEM platform, applying a combination of hands-on technical skills and staff management responsibilities. Design and automate SOC processes for security incident response and investigations. Generate metrics and reports and present to executive management and line of business directors across the Cybersecurity Team and Information Security Organization.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: Bachelor's degree in computer science or mathematics (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience analyzing information security issues. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section unless otherwise stated) -- must possess the following: Leading security incident investigations (5 years); Designing security information and event monitoring and operations technologies and processes, security metrics and analytics reporting (5 years); Architecting, building and maintaining Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) platforms and QRadar on Cloud (QRoC) platforms; Designing, building and maintaining Security Operations Center (SOC) and processes; Designing use cases based on cyber threat landscape and relevant regulatory and compliance requirements; Performing cybersecurity posture assessments to identify and address critical gaps; Integrating DDoS monitoring and response into SOC processes and tools; Managing and integrating Data Loss Prevent (DLP) and email security gateways into SOC tools; and must hold 3 or more of the following cybersecurity certifications: CISSP, CISM, SANS GCIA and SANS GCIH.
