Role Value Proposition:

The Director, Integrated Brand Marketing is a strategic marketing role that is responsible for developing the strategy and execution of innovative and integrated marketing campaigns for the MetLife Brand that drive customer engagement and brand equity while achieving business goals.

 

Core responsibilities will focus on leading insight-led creative campaigns for key group audiences (employers, brokers, employees) and integrated execution across all touchpoints and channels. This individual will be responsible for developing marketing strategies based off of business goals and customer insights, creating communications strategies, creative briefs and creative development, media planning, execution and optimization and overall campaign measurement and reporting. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop integrated marketing campaign strategies aligned to U.S. Group Benefits business goals, brand positioning and specific business value props, for owned, earned and paid channels, including MetLife.com.
  • Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams on campaign planning, creative/content needs, audience insights and research, media-mix modeling, analytics & measurement
  • Develop integrated campaign briefs that bring audience insights to life while driving business goals.
  • Lead partnership with creative agencies on creative and content needs. Guide the team in production, timing and budgets ensuring creative assets are delivered on time, on budget and in line with Global MetLife Brand Guidelines.
  • Lead partnership with media agency of record. Guide team on planning and execution across all media channels with a focus on digital acquisition marketing, developing ongoing learning agendas and reporting dashboards overtime.
  • Ensure campaigns are launched on time with appropriate tracking and measurement, lead optimizations and reporting along with Data and Analytics partners.
  • Activate the MetLife brand tone of voice and visual guidelines. Develop and nurture relationships with global brand and other US businesses to understand where the brand is evolving and channel best practices across the business for both branded content and media.
  • Lead and develop a team of associates 
  • Work with compliance and legal departments to ensure all marketing materials, are approved for use within deadlines

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required

  • 8+ years of brand marketing experience with deep functional expertise including marketing strategy, campaign/media/communications planning, creative development, execution/production and in-campaign optimizations.
  • Understanding of a broad range marketing channels: traditional, digital, social, content, email and mail, collateral and website development.
  • Experience in developing innovative marketing strategies based on segmentation, consumer insights, and brand positioning with measurable in market success
  • Proven success of leading innovation from conceptualization to implementation for a large brand or portfolio of reputable brands
  • Working knowledge of analytics, measurement and reporting
  • Ability to develop and optimize fully integrated marketing strategy and plans across a large-scale enterprise organization
  • Ability to inclusively and pro-actively lead, influence and motivate individual contributors across a highly matrixes environment
  • Track record of developing talent

 

Preferred

  • MBA or other advanced degree desirable.

The wage range for this position specific to Colorado is $103,000 - $137,300.  The role is eligible for incentive compensation under the MetLife Annual Variable Incentive Plan ("AVIP").  Your eligibility for and award of incentives are governed by the terms of the plan. MetLife offers a comprehensive benefits program that includes Medical, Dental, Life, Vision plus Retirement benefits and Paid Time Off.
