Role Value Proposition:      

Support new business product launch, including market sizing, competitiveness analysis, value proposition design, customer research, go-to-market strategies, ideation facilitation and partnership strategies. Provide strategic assessment of M&A opportunities and prospects. Partner with global business leaders, regional management and local teams to scope, define and coordinate initiatives in support of business strategy. Develop portfolio approach to inform capital allocation and investment in strategic markets, provide effective challenge and external views to the businesses and cascade enterprise-level strategy into business roadmaps and initiatives. Lead cross functional teams on high visibility complex projects from ideation through execution, which require considerable resources and high-level functional integration. Develop EG and Board strategy communication materials, collect key metrics from various sources using management analysis tools and complete complex analyses, including cost projections, feasibility studies, benchmark comparisons and other reports. Develop a perspective and create recommendations for senior management review. Develop complex financial and investment models and participate in preparing ROI analysis as necessary for senior management.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Finance or Economics (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience leading business and functional priorities in a global, highly matrixed life insurance company with Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Customer (B2C) operations. Specific skills/other requirements: performing competitiveness analyses, developing financial models, analyzing return on investment (ROI) and evaluating market entries or exits, strategic planning and guidance, and capital allocation decision-making support (1 year); analyzing business metrics and their drivers, managing risks and gaps during strategy execution and providing strategic planning and execution support to internal and external business partners (1 year); leading cross functional teams on high visibility, complex projects from ideation through execution (1 year); authoring memos and opportunity/investment recommendations and perspective for senior management review on strategic partnerships, divestitures, strategy refreshes and capital allocation (1 year); and cascading enterprise-level strategy into business roadmaps and initiatives and building internal Public Relations (PR) to improve employee engagement and best practice sharing (1 year).
