You’ll be joining a business that is expanding, cares about the community and the environment. Role Value Proposition
This is an ideal role for something looking to take their initial Investment experience into Asset Management / Investment Management. Encompassing elements of front office, with plenty of client interaction, this middle office role will see you undertaking investment operations. The successful Client Service Consultant is a member of the Private Capital Client Service Operations team within MIM. This role would suit an Analyst to Associate experienced professional. The highly motivated Client Service professional will support, and help enhance, the client experience for MIM’s Private Capital clients. The Client Service professional will lead client onboarding, lead wide-ranging and impactful projects, and should feel comfortable cultivating existing and new client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and deliver timely and accurate client reports for MIM’s portfolios and funds
- Effectively answer ad-hoc and/or follow-up questions from clients, investors, and internal partners
- Lead the client onboarding, offboarding, and change management process
- Lead projects to achieve efficiencies and improve existing processes
- Provide oversight for cash and position reconciliations
- Manage operational aspects of deal flow from origination through settlement
- Ensure effective risk management is taken into account in all day to day activities, in accordance with ME risk policies, and escalate any areas of concern to line manager and where appropriate Risk Management function.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
- Relevant experience in the Investment Management industry (operations; reconciliations, payments etc), usually 2-4yrs
- Institutional client experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated record of success in servicing institutional clients or funds
- Exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Capable of thriving in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Fluent English speaker
Preferred Business Experience and Technical Skills
- Experience with Aladdin, Salesforce and Vermilion
