Role Value Proposition:

As a part of the Human Resources Digital Strategy and Technology Operations team, this position will oversee process and content design, development, and optimization teams in support of Core HR and Talent. They will develop and grow partnerships within Human Resources that enhance awareness and adoption of Governance, Release Management, Content Design, and Global support processes, with a focus on simplicity, agility, and continuous improvement. They will also create key partnerships with multiple teams across MetLife including the broader HR Digital Strategy team, Human Resources business partners, People Experience, Global Operations Support Center, and Global Technology partners. This position reports to the Director of HR Cloud Architecture and Operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the ongoing relations with our Global Operations Support Center, whose teams manage our governance, release management, content management and production operations processes.
  • Manages process design, development, and improvement in support of Core HR and Talent initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various business partners including IT and implementation consultants, to drive technology solutions with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Leads complex, large-sized projects to implement modifications ad re-engineer processes for Core HR and Talent technology solutions.
  • Practice and advocate agile methodology to accommodate business needs and varying timelines.
  • Manages relationships with vendors and implementation consultants, as needed.
  • Oversees the creation and maintenance of system documentation.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: 

  • Experience in managing support processes for Core HCM and Talent systems.
  • Experience in process development, review, and redesign
  • Experience managing complex, large-sized projects and adhering to timelines and established budgets
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to drive conversations and decisions with key stakeholders
  • Experience providing technology solutions in a SaaS Cloud environment with proven ability to understand and manage end-to-end impacts
  • Proven continuous improvement results
  • Understanding of strategic initiatives and putting them into practice
  • Motivated, focused, and innovative
  • Ability to participate in high-performing virtual teams in a global environment

Required:

  • Prior experience managing support for Core HCM and Talent SaaS Cloud technology, preferably Oracle Cloud.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Solutions (Teams, Visio, Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong project management skills

Preferred:

  • Experience leading HR Production Support teams and processes
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

The wage range for applicants for this position is $85,700 - 131,400.  This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. MetLife offers a comprehensive benefits program, including healthcare benefits, life insurance, retirement benefits, parental leave, legal plan services and paid time off. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
