Financial Planning & Analysis team is part of Finance Management Group (FMG) and is responsible for delivering high quality management reports and updates to senior leadership groups. The team performs thorough analysis, provide insights on wide range of metrics tracked within the organization and formulate robust business plan for the region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works on basic to the more complex financial analyses assignments or projects.
  • Prepares financial reports by downloading information from single or multiple sources, compiles databases and formulates spreadsheets. Ensure smooth delivery of reports and presentations for internal management, board and external meetings.
  • Provide financial insight on wide range of metrics, thoughtful analysis and frame decisions that need to be made to drive values and results. Identify opportunities and risks for management consideration and translate into potential actions.
  • Develop business requirements, approves specifications, documents procedures & processes, tests transactions and assists in implementation as finance lead on cross functional IT/business teams developing financial systems or financial accounting transactions and controls within administrative systems.
  • Acts with very little direction. Communicates unresolved problems to management. Errors can cause substantial delays, expense and inefficiency.

 

Candidate Qualifications:

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Accounting or actuarial degree holder
  • 10+ years with life insurance experience, preferably in financial reporting
  • Strong proficiency in in financial software applications and various office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint or equivalent is required
  • A high degree of integrity with excellent interpersonal, communication skills and strong team player
  • Strong quantitative and critical thinking skills
  • Well-organized, detailed oriented and able to efficiently function under pressure
  • Ability to operate in a complex global environment
