Role Value Proposition

 

This role will working closely with countries in Asia and various teams in the organization to manage and deliver list of management reporting deliverables of Asia region to Hong Kong regional office. This role is also the team lead responsible for resource / deliverables planning, process management and support in business metrics data to Hong Kong Regional Office. 

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Problem resolution and process management in ensuring timely management report deliverables.
  • Set up, execute and manage data check procedures to ensure data accuracy and consistency in support to business analysis and management reports.
  • Develop template and provide guidance to countries in support to management reports.
  • Propose and work out analytical supportive data to variance analysis and presentation deck materials.
  • Handle and support for GAAP stress testing variance analysis.
  • Handle ad-hoc management reports or analysis support requests.     
  • Manage system process or issues and coordinate with financial system support team to ensure seamless report deliverables.   
  • Lead and manage team deliverables including performance review, resource planning and team engagement.

 

 

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:

 

  • Exposure in insurance industry with 10 years of experience and have experience in people management.
  • Proficiency in office applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Well-organized, detail oriented and able to efficiently function under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and taking initiative with minimal supervision.
  • A high degree of integrity with strong interpersonal skill and communication skill.
  • Certified Public Accountant / ACCA or equivalent accountancy qualification
