We are searching for an experienced Performance Measurement Professional to join the Performance and Attribution team in Whippany. The candidate will report to the Head of Performance within the Performance and Reporting Group. He or she will be primarily responsible for maintaining Compliance with GIPS and for Performance Reporting to the Management Team. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain Portfolio Membership in the firm’s 60+ Composites spanning multiple asset classes such as Public Fixed Income, Private Capital, Real Estate, and Index Strategies.
  • Document changes to GIPS Policies and Procedures.
  • Host Monthly and Quarterly Composite Review Committees to finalize composite returns.
  • Develop and implement controls around data input and production output.
  • Write performance disclosures for GIPS Reports and Supplemental Information.
  • Produce quarterly Top of the House reports for C-Suite Management.
  • Maintain data flows to MIM’s management reporting dashboard.
  • Identify areas of potential process improvements and implement solutions.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills


  • Undergraduate degree in a technical, mathematical, or accounting/financial field required.
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in working in a performance role at an investment management firm.
  • Solid Understanding of GIPS 2020, particularly disclosure requirements and Carve Out Allowances.
  • Ability to explain Fixed Income Attribution results, especially quantify performance impact from Duration Positioning/Yield Curve changes and Spread profile.
  • Excellent Communication skills: Ability to liaise with and communicate effectively with all employee experience levels throughout the organization.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills.
  • Knowledge of portfolio accounting principles and concepts.


  • CFA, CIPM, or graduate degree a plus.
