Manage project quality assurance efforts across multiple applications. Collaborate with project teams to define Test Strategy and build project Test Plans.  Ensure quality control of applications. Familiarity of working in traditional Waterfall Project methodology and equally the ability to work collaboratively in an AGILE & Dev Ops Methodology. Ability to work collaboratively with UAT Test Management to deliver overall product quality.

Reports to: Director - Quality Assurance

Direct Reports: 0 - 9

Other Key Stakeholders: IT Project Managers and Business System Analysts in Plan Organization, Developers, External Vendors Test Orgs

    

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for forecasting and estimation for all projects from inception through to delivery including engagement of external vendors
  • Responsibility for leading end to end quality assurance engagement for Large Projects
  • Responsibility for the management of external Test Vendors throughout the Project Life Cycle to ensure quality outcomes
  • Manage medium to large project quality assurance efforts, including intersystem quality assurance efforts and program management of entire portfolios of quality assurance
  • Responsible for estimating, planning, managing and status reporting on the quality assurance portion of the software development project
  • Validate the work of other quality assurance roles to ensure properly designed test cases and application of appropriate and efficient test analysis, design, and coverage
  • Defect trend analysis and root cause analysis

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree / diploma (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field and 10+ years of related experience
  • 7+ years related work experience
  • MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
