Role Value Proposition: 


Florida is the largest New Written Premium state in the Southern/Central Plains Region and the 5th largest market for MetLife countrywide.  The role of the Regional Sales Manager is to retain, grow, and manage profitability of this market via agency management, prospecting, and appointing new Independent agents throughout the state.


Key Responsibilities:  


  • Provide External Wholesaling/Marketing services to a specified territory of Independent Agents and Brokers’  by promoting Personal Lines Property and Casualty Insurance, Life, and General Agency products
  • Recruit, Appoint and validate new Independent Agents in Florida to grow New Business Premium
  • Develop personalized Business Plans for Sales, Profitability, Retention and ancillary production
  • Provide Training and Support to producers and customer service representatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and current agents to accelerate sales growth, profitability, and retention


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:




  • 5-7 Years previous P&C experience in field sales management 
  • Property & Casualty and Life Licensed
  • Must be able to frequently accommodate overnight travel (post-Covid) 
  • Ability to successfully conduct Webex (virtual) meetings




  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • CIC and/or CPCU Designations
  • Expertise in Salesforce
