Role Value Proposition: 

We’re looking for an experienced professional to join us as a key member of our IT Infrastructure Team.

Working with and supporting the Regional IT Risk Management Lead the successful candidate will be responsible for the management and timely delivery of Audit and Risk remediation solutions for the EMEA region.  They will work with Risk Finding and Audit Management Action Plan (MAP) owners within EMEA to outline remediation solutions, develop detailed implementation plans, manage (track) progress against plan and drive to on-time and within budget closure of Audit MAPs and Risk Findings.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensuring a robust fit for purpose IT Risk Register is managed and maintained across the EMEA business entities.
  • Working in conjunction with key partners and stakeholders you will be responsible for ensuring that IT infrastructure risks are raised to the correct owner and remediated through robust Management Action Plans
  • Work with Risk Finding and Management Action Plan (MAP) owners to outline remediation solutions, develop detailed implementation plans, manage (track) progress against plan and drive to on-time and within budget remediation of EMEA Infrastructure Risk and Audit Findings.
  • Work closely with surrounding support teams to ensure consistent delivery and management of MAP and Risk Finding Remediation. Provide support with the documentation of risk and compliance procedures and carry out training with the team and wider stakeholders as required
  • Deliver regular and standardized reporting of MAP and Risk Findings Remediation status.
  • Providing detailed Management Information, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), to Senior Management on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Using MetLife’s Risk portal, conduct quarterly Risk Control Self Assessments of the IT Infrastructure risks and associated controls listed on risk registers. Collect evidence to show all controls are effective and report on recommendations and agreed management action plans to remediate non effective controls with control owners.
  • Support the Regional Risk Management Leader in managing the Regional Audit MAP and Risk Finding Portfolio
  • Act as point of contact for managing requests from MetLife’s internal and External Audit teams

 

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

 

Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience working in managing risk and compliance with technology infrastructure
  • Industry Certification (e.g., CISA, CRISC certification)
  • Experience working in a global organization
  • Solid English written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop and present clear action plans and executive level status reports
  • Strong Teamwork/collaboration/partnership skills
  • Self-directed/Driven and highly self-motivated
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with roles of authority
  • Personable, conscientious, ability to cope with pressure, prioritize work appropriately and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience using IBM OpenPages software
  • Knowledge of the Service Now toolset
