Role Value Proposition: 

The Global CRM Project Lead role will be responsible for design, development and implementation of MetLife’s CRM solutions using cloud offerings following the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC).  This candidate would be responsible for managing new development, enhancements, and/or proof of concepts. Key Responsibilities:  

  • Follows approved SDLC and project management methodology, ensuring that all required steps are followed, all required deliverables are produced, and all approvals are obtained. 
  • Owns project/program issue resolution and risk management.
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project planning, tracking and analysis. 
  • Coordinates and reports on project progress and accomplishments. 
  • The lead is responsible for project related financial and vendor management including forecasting, development/processing of SOW’s, purchase orders, accruals, SLA's, and budget reconciliation.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • Leads large scale, complex cross LOB or cross enterprise projects with large virtual/offshore teams.
    • Ability to lead and motivate project team members that are not direct reports, as well as providing work direction to lower-level staff members. 
    • Project staff members may span multiple functions, teams, and vendors. 
      Provides input to management on staff performance. 
    • Reviews work products from team and vendor consultants.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree required with major in related field (Computer Science, Engineering, CIS/MIS) preferred
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong understanding of software delivery life cycles and execution to spirit of the phases in MetLife program management.
  • Experience managing on/offshore vendors
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Technically competent with various software programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.


  • Experience with Clarity
  • Knowledge of insurance industry and products
  • Financial experience/exposure
  • Experience with and/or Customer Relationship Management tools
  • Multi-lingual
  • ITIL and/or PMP certification or similar
