Role Value Proposition: 

The Production Mgmt Senior Analyst – Disaster Recovery Coordination position is part of a team whose focus is on activities related to supporting Disaster Recovery Testing Coordination & Governance.  This position requires the candidate to lead diverse teams of IT professionals with planning, scheduling, problem resolution and status reporting on Disaster Recovery Testing.  The position requires expertise in driving small projects and possess background in typical application architecture & infrastructure

    

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Application Security & Risk Governance team to business and IT leadership as a clear, consistent source of trustworthy information, exhibiting transparency and good decision-making skills
  • Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager
  • Build partnerships across the broader organization and collaborate with key partners and stakeholders on planning, leading and maintaining an effective DR test plan
  • Understand stakeholders needs and set expectations for deliverables
  • Coordinate and lead DR testing activities (may include some non-business hours and weekend work)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on new initiatives
  • Review of application infrastructure or code changes to ensure quality and relevance of existing failover documentation
  • Collaborate and effectively communicate cross-functionally; self-motivated and demonstrate initiative

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 2+ years of related IT experience in production support, application development, infrastructure or technology operations
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with strong influencing and negotiation skills & ability to build and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders; international cultural awareness
  • Understanding and experience in IT systems and technology; a combination of knowledge in a few or more of the following areas – Servers, Storage, Networking, Relational Databases, J2EE, SOAP and Web Services
  • Experience using ServiceNow, Archer, or other Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lead and influence others

 

Preferred:

  • Experience working in agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban
  • Understanding and experience in ITIL framework
  • Experience working with offshore teams and vendors
  • Understanding of DevOps principles
  • Previous use of monitoring tools, such as AppDynamics
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, SA certifications
