Summary of Responsibilities:

MetLife continues to mature overall data capabilities in our ultimate goal of becoming a data driven organization.    Data Management is a key enabler and an area we are investing heavily in.   This role will be responsible for providing direct and overall support to the Vice President of Data Management increasing the bandwidth of the leadership team and support overall operating model of the team and all the processes supporting, strategic planning/facilitation, communications, presentation preparation, meeting/conference & workshop planning, and staffing.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and/or coordinating business initiatives & integrating processes across the operating units including: strategic planning, executive leadership and planning board meetings and other strategy and planning sessions.
  • Help coordinate key meetings.
  • Help plan, organize, and follow up on executive or conference deliverables. Discuss issues with senior leadership team in advance to expedite the information gathering/decision making process
  • Help develop presentations, ie. Business Reviews, Roadshow presentations, Planning Bd. Meeting presentations.
  • Ensure deadlines are met regarding HR deliverables
  • Various special projects

  • Strong, analytical, organization and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels of management
  • Sound judgement, professionalism and discretion due to level and confidential nature of information
  • Ability to function effectively within an unstructured environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to details
  • Assertive self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks under strict time constraints
  • Tools experience – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio
