Role Value Proposition: 

 Delivers exceptional customer service to Affinity & Member Benefits clients. Works with the Account Team and other internal partners to manage the customer relationship and provide administrative support for delivery of MetLife’s products and services.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Overall accountability for: client requests, leading projects, providing clients with alternative solutions, identifying possible plan design alternatives, acting as a liaison between the client and MetLife internal teams.
  • Collaborates and acts as a liaison to assist with problem resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to support ongoing customer delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Responsible for premium remittance coordination with Third Party Administrators & overall remittance processing.
  • Participates in strategy meetings, establishes specific processes & reports, reviews contract documents, creates process manuals & ensures accurate input of data in MetLife systems, develops and leads client presentations.
  • Maintains awareness and knowledge of MetLife’s and competitor’s products and trends.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

 

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent verbal presentations and written communications skills, also able to speak in front of large groups.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to prioritize and work on numerous responsibilities at one time.
  • Proven record of establishing, building and nurturing lasting customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated, work both independently and as a team, and have strong desire to exceed goals.
  • Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Strongly preferred
  • Experience working with Associations/Brokers/Consultants /Third Party Administrators and Sponsoring Organizations.

The ideal candidate will have expertise with Affinity markets and be proficient navigating MetLife platforms to provide extra-ordinary customer service to our partners.
