The Technology Liaison works closely with end-users of Global Procurement systems to assist in problem resolution and support system changes that lead to more efficient and customer-friendly solutions.  Acts as liaisons between the business and IT personnel to support technology needs; represents Global Procurement users in all system enhancements and design activities. Reviews user requests, conducts data gathering interviews, documents business specifications, and manages technology projects until completion. Technology liaisons have working knowledge of both procurement processes and the systems that support those processes. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees system enhancements and parts or phases of medium to large projects. 
  • Documents requirements and creates functional specifications necessary to address complex business needs. 
  • Conducts testing of system change and ensures successful deployment, including end-user change management. 
  • Works closely with Global Procurement technology vendors to prioritize issues/projects, track SLAs, and review/assess new system functionality. 


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • Strong knowledge of Procurement processes/procedures, workflow, systems, and transactions.
  • Proficient customer service and communication skills.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills.

 Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience
