Role Value Proposition: 

Perform the role of Open Pages support and development technician reporting to the Director of Application Development for the MetLife Corporate Systems group.  The candidate is responsible for assisting the ongoing support and development of projects on the Enterprise Global Risk and Compliance (EGRC) platform requiring the coordination and partnership with resources across the risk management business functions.  Responsibilities include delivering and developing enhancements and workflows from business requirements, function requirements and functional design documents. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high level client service on large, global scale EGRC engagement including implementation and support of key projects, BAU activities and special projects
  • Able read and understand business requirements, evaluate effort, translate to technical solutions within the Open Pages platform
  • Implement documented use cases, functional specifications by developing/configuring report screens, User Interface enhancements, dependent workflows and data element changes using Open Pages provided tool sets
  • Work closely with Lead SDE and Sr Software Developers Project Managers and BSA’s to understand and deliver on documented requirements
  • Understanding the OP infrastructure and support model
  • Understanding of MetLife IT processes, procedures and standards
  • Document code release artifacts, user guides, reference manuals and training materials as appropriate
  • Provide development support to the management of GRC related projects and scheduled releases
  • Troubleshooting of reported issues related to developed/configured solutions

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • COGNOS report development a plus
  • Java development skills a plus
  • JSON development skills a plus
  • Some knowledge of project management concepts and practices
  • Knowledgeable of in office tools (MS Office suite of applications, email, Internet, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
