The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team with hands on coding duties as well as leading end-to-end delivery of BPM projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform requirements analysis, design, and implement solutions using web technologies (e.g., Java EE) and our Business Process Management (BPM) platforms
  • Lead projects as a technical lead to collaborate with business, regional ITs, and other teams to ensure the projects to be delivered on time
  • Provide level 3 support if needed
  • Provide updates to stakeholders and management
  • Create necessary documentation (e.g., technical design document)

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 6+ years of hands-on application/API (restful webservices, SOAP based webservices), development experience using Java EE, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, AngularJS, JSON
  • Agile Methodology - Proven experience as a lead developer skilled in software development life cycle using agile methodologies.
  • BPM Skills – Design and develop optimized workflow process using K2 or any other BPM platform.
  • SQL Skills - Database data model design, creation of tables, views, stored procedures and writing complex optimized queries.
  • Ability to communicate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate those into technical specifications and design, and ultimately implement the solution
  • Demonstrated Expertise in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) according to agile methodologies.

 

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps – Prior implementation experience of setting up repos and building pipelines to achieve CI/CD objectives.
  • Architecture – Architecting and developing robust and maintainable BPM implementations.
  • Knowledge or experience in application architecture
  • Training and mentoring the team

The wage range for applicants for this position is [the more specific figure (for example (only): $80,000) or range within which the hiring manager reasonably expects to hire (for example (only): $70,000 - $85,000)]. The role is eligible for incentive compensation under the sales incentive plan for your position.
