Role Value Proposition

The Sr. Single Sign-On (SSO) / Federation Services Engineer will be responsible for delivering solutions using various Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools including Broadcom VIP Auth Hub and Azure AD.

Responsibilities will include analysis, development, installation, modification, and support of MetLife’s access management solutions. This position requires the resource to be a subject matter expert (SME) in SSO and Federation. You must have strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality solutions while enforcing adherence to MetLife’s Information Security policies and regulatory obligations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver IAM solutions
  • Enable more automation
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the development of solution design specifications and deployment
  • Provide leadership in Tier 3 troubleshooting
  • Monitor and keep the IAM platforms in compliance and current
  • Proactively identify technical and procedural areas of concern and proposes pragmatic solutions
  • Move projects towards architecture North Star
     

Essential Business and Technical Skills and Experience

Required:

  • BA/BS degree with major in related field
  • 5+ years of experience with SiteMinder v12.x policy server and agent installation, configuration, and advanced support
  • 5+ years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting web services using SiteMinder v12.x or with similar Web Access Management (WAM) solutions (e.g., Azure B2C, ADFS, IBM TIM/TAM, Oracle OAM, Ping, etc.)

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting Apache, IBM HTTP Server (IHS), or MS IIS
  • 5+ years of experience working on privileged access management systems like CyberArk
  • Ability to develop productive relationships with client and IT management, staff and vendors
  • Industry recognized security certification such as a CISSP or similar certification
