Role Value Proposition: 

As part of the Global CRM team, the Sr. Project Leader II will be responsible for implementation of platform solutions Enterprise-wide.  The position will be responsible for management of projects, vendors and financials.


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Project Management Standards: Drive projects according to MetLife Program and Project Management standards.  Manage financials and implementation teams.
  • Cost Management: Manage, monitor, and track project-related costs to monitor spending and ensure financial accuracy. With a focus on budget management, you will provide an executive level view for stakeholders to communicate financials..
  • Vendor Management: Manage invoices, change orders, and SOWs to ensure prompt approval of vendor needs.
  • Innovation: Provide thought leadership and create an environment that fosters innovation.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills



  • 3+ years’ experience with project management processes, deployment standards, and Software Development Lifecycle methodology.
  • 3+ years’ experience managing teams.
  • 3+ years’ experience with in a technical role
  • Strong background in design and development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software development lifecycle
  • Ability to learn quickly in a highly dynamic environment
  • Ability to take ownership of project delivery and multi-task on multiple projects/feature development
  • Ability to establish credibility with business and IT constituents quickly
  • Strong oral and written communication skills



  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in a related discipline.
  • One or more Salesforce certifications.
  • Proven experience in vendor relationships and negotiations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global environment with matrix organizational management.
  • Strong understanding of development/design
  • Experience in short release cycles as well as the full software lifecycle.
