Senior Business Analyst - IAM

Role Value Proposition: 

We are looking for an experienced Sr IT Business Systems Analyst for our Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) implementation program team in the US. The incumbent will partner with business and application development teams to help drive the vision, long term strategy, and roadmap for the CIAM platform. This person has a technical background and experience with end-to-end delivery of an IAM program. They will utilize this experience while partnering with development teams to link technical capabilities to the strategic vision and business needs. This individual will become an expert in the CIAM tools and processes implemented as part of this program. Responsibilities also include ongoing production support activities. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with application development and IT Risk teams to link technical capabilities to strategic vision and business needs
  • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems related to the CIAM program, where analysis of situations or data requires will complete in-depth evaluations
  • Build working relationships with IAM vendor product management, development and engineering teams
  • Provide technical input during all phases of the program
  • Complete impact assessments based on analysis of changes to architecture
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, offshore service providers and vendors to drive synergies and deliver solutions and ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and IT risk policies
  • Review the design features and functionality in line with business requirements
  • Partner with architects to understand the current and future state system dependencies
  • Ensure clear communications and coordination across business and partner teams
  • Technical oversight and leadership of delivery partner teams to ensure quality and timeliness of implementation tasks
  • Escalate and resolve risks and misalignment

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • 4+ years of related experience with IAM systems implementation
  • Detailed knowledge of IAM Services and the business processes used to support them; deep knowledge of various IAM Security technologies, Web Services, REST API Architecture, and LDAP; general knowledge of IAM Control standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to effectively work with all stakeholders; excellent communication – oral, written, presentation
  • Demonstrated relationship management experience with communication to various levels of leadership
  • Experience working with remote or offshore teams
  • Bachelors’ degree required with major in related Technical field preferred

Preferred: 

  • Experience with customer-facing IAM solutions
  • 3+ leading project teams on/off shore
  • Experience working as an IAM consultant or equivalent
  • Well-rounded knowledge of IAM software vendors including product capabilities, strategy and roadmap
  • Information Security Certifications e.g. CISSP, CISM
  • Knowledge of regulatory controls (e.g. SOX, SSAE16, GDPR, CPPA)
  • Background in solution delivery and complex IAM project execution
  • 3+ years project management experience
