Role Value Proposition: 

As an experienced Cyber Security professional you will establish, maintain and continually refine baseline standards that protect our organization and customers. You will take proactive lead on incident response, risk reviews, vulnerability assessments, identifying threats and provide hands-on solutions using best practices, new policies, and emerging trends. The position requires experience with CyberSecurity related tools, full-stack hand-on programming abilities, deep knowledge of data structures and fundamental algorithms, data analytics and ability to analyze, design and develop new solutions and approaches quickly. Ability to evangelize, envision new proof of concepts, implementation, integration and coordination as well as familiarity with SCRUM are considered plus.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design SIEM use case, automate threat detection, perform security control gap analysis, integrate various tools & platforms with SIEM and SOAR.
  • Write code/scripts/automation to detect, prevent or integrate new IOCs or to automate cyber security processes to increase efficiencies via API.
  • Collaborate with Security Analysts to tune and enhance cyber security solutions and technologies to keep up with the latest threats.
  • Design and develops new tools/technologies as related to cyber security.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot complex systems, tools and/or networking solutions.
  • Perform investigative research, analysis and troubleshooting to identify, resolve, and report complex security issues.
  • Provide insight on issues and serve as a mentor to peers and team members for assigned area of responsibility. Follow written risk and compliance policies and procedures.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:



  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
  • 4+ years of related experience in Cyber Security, Incident Response, Information Security  and/or Information Technology.
  • Experience in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) solutions, Breach and Attack Simulation(BAS), Firewalls/IPS/IDS and Windows, Linux, and Apple endpoint security solutions.
  • Experience using threat intelligence enrichment to support incident response.
  • Strong Python/ PowerShell/ C#, .NET / API development experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.




  • Strong understanding of general incident response methodologies, threats and vulnerabilities, cyber security practices, and security tool architectural and engineering principles.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills (eg: wireshark, host forensics, log analysis and debugging).
  • Understanding of national and international laws, regulations, policies and ethics related to cybersecurity.
