Within Global Technology and Operations (GTO), the centralized TechQA organization, tasked with all software testing, is looking for you to provide coordination of intake and demand across the entire TechQA organization.  You will work in the Demand and Performance organization. This organization provides support to Test Program Managers world-wide in their testing efforts. Therefore,  you will partner with employees and vendors throughout TechQA and in other external groups. As the Demand and Performance group is a team that often shares responsibilities and may also rotate into Test Delivery, there are key responsibilities for this role and other general responsibilities.

 

The GTO group is a diverse team of engineers, developers, and business and project managers with the freedom to create innovative solutions to core business challenges within MetLife.  TechQA is the centralized software testing organization.

 

Key Responsibilities of this role:

This position’s responsibilities require full understanding of the testing process. Therefore, it is important that although this particular role does not manage testing activities, the skillset and knowledge of a testing lead is required to perform the responsibilities of this role effectively. Therefore, this will also be evaluated.

 

        Specific key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Understanding the financial systems, the budgeting process, and the functions within TechQA.

  • Aid in the design and administration of a process and system to ensure

  • Aid in the design and produce reports and views to support demand and intake function

  • Aid in creating presentations for senior leadership as needed

  • Prepare process documentation and training for financial leads and AD partners

Required Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 7+ years of systems development, testing and/or business experience or related work experience

  • Project Management experience and/or training

  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure, testing tools, and variety of testing techniques and methodologies.

  • Excellent understanding of system design processes, methodologies, and testing tools.

 

Preferred Experience: 

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field preferred

  • Experience with all lifecycles, including Agile, DevOps, Waterfall

  • MS Project

  • Clarity
