Role Value Proposition: 

 

We are looking for a seasoned IT lead for our Identity & Access Management (IAM) Application Maintenance and Support team in the US. The incumbent will partner with the application development team to help define the vision, long term strategy and roadmap for the identity and access management platform. This person will partner with development and access management teams to link technical capabilities to the strategic vision and business needs. This individual will become the go-to person for the identity space & evangelize the space from a production support perspective.  Responsibilities also include ongoing production support activities. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Maintain applications in the production environment. Identify and implement solutions that optimize operating efficiency of production systems, maximizing uptime and enhancing operational excellence. Manage relationships with business and IT partners to prioritize and resolve issues arising in production support ticket queues. Actively participates in day-to-day production management activities including the investigation and resolution of Incidents, Service Requests, and Problems.
  • Technical oversight and leadership of delivery partner teams to ensure quality and resolution while monitoring patterns of incoming tickets and drive remediation activities to reduce volumes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, offshore service providers and vendors to drive synergies and deliver solutions and ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and IT risk policies
  • Partner with application development and access management teams to link technical capabilities to strategic vision and business needs. Review the design features and functionality in line with business requirements.
  • Ensure clear communications and coordination across business and partner teams. Escalate and resolve risks and misalignment

 

 

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

 

Required:

  • Detailed knowledge of IAM Services and the business processes used to support them. General knowledge of IAM Control standards
  • Strong Hold on SOA Web Services, REST API Architecture, LDAP, Site Minder concepts. Good knowledge of DMBS concepts
  • Deep knowledge of various IAM technologies and how they are applied to support the services: Access Management, Federated Identity/SSO, SOD, Governance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to effectively work with all stakeholders and customers to improve data and business processes and to negotiate priorities
  • Bachelors’ degree required with major in related Technical field preferred. 5+ years IT experience, including 2+ years in application development or production support. Demonstrated relationship management experience with communication to various levels of leadership. Experience working with remote or offshore teams. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills – written, verbal and presentation

 

 

Preferred: 

  • Information Security Certifications e.g. CISSP, CISM
  • Knowledge of regulatory controls (e.g. PCI DSS, SOX, SSAE16)

·       Experience working with remote or offshore teams

·       Background with Service Now, End user facing applications, or Call Center

  • 1+ years project management experience
