Role Value Proposition: 

Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) has an opportunity specifically supporting several business areas, Human Resources, Employee Experience, IT Tools and Security and the Legal/Audit/Compliance business.  This position is focused on building and maintaining relationships with business and technology teams to understand business priorities and ensure delivery of solutions to meet expectations, while intercepting interference from other teams and addressing valid concerns.


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Understand stakeholders’ needs and set expectations for deliverables
  • Advocate on behalf of the business to set priorities from the backlog with technology teams
  • Leverage metrics to track progress against deliverables and influence prioritization
  • Represent the AMS organization to business and IT leadership as a clear, consistent source of trustworthy information, exhibiting transparency and good decision-making skills
  • Partner broadly internally and externally to ensure issue resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new initiatives
  • Consult on operational support models for new features and business solutions
  • Play an active role in mitigating impediments and conflict resolution


Essential Business Experience and Technology Skills:


  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills including excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders with strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative - must be Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical thinking and end-to-end problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, major in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred
  • Finance/Insurance industry experience
  • Experience working in Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban
  • 8+ years of related working experience - production support, application development, infrastructure or technology operations



  • PO/PM Certification (CSM, CSPO, PMP, Prince 2, etc.)
  • Understanding and experience in ITIL framework
  • Understanding of DevOps principles
  • Experience working with offshore teams and vendors
  • Incident management tools or task management tools, like ServiceNow or JIRA
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English/Japanese), is a plus
