Role Value Proposition:      

Drive forward the technical delivery of a complex and highly visible project in the Global Sales and Servicing Platform. Provide technical leadership to a project team building sophisticated framework to be used on Cloud platform for sales and servicing functions. Communicate recommended architectural vision, customer data protection strategies as well as cloud roadmap strategies and obtain approval from key internal stakeholders. Work with developers, analysts, and the business to build fully thought through solutions to implement new features according to specification and resolve bugs. Provide content and review documentation for releases and new features. Lead project planning activities in an Agile SCRUM environment to define the milestones and activate within comprehensive project plan to ensure that the project is on time and within budget.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus ten (10) years of experience designing and developing software using Java and Spring framework. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section unless otherwise stated) -- Must possess the following: performing solution design, data modelling, and REST API design using Java/J2EE, Groovy, JavaScript, or CSS (10 years); implementing solutions using Microservices, Spring Boot, Groovy, Handlebars, and packaging application; building Asynchronous Messaging systems using RabbitMQ to provide queuing; performing data storage using MongoDB, HBASE, and cache activities using Redis; supporting complete web application lifecycle on Cloud platform in Azure PaaS components AKS and Storage for global sales and servicing functions; automating application deployment, scaling, and management using Docker, Kubernetes, or Swarm container and orchestration technologies; leading project planning activities in an Agile SCRUM environment; and providing vendor resources training and reviewing work products prepared by team and vendor consultants. Must possess the following certifications: Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) certification; and IBM AIX certification.
