Role Value Proposition:      

As a primary subject matter expert (SME) liaison between business users and the IT project team, gather, review, analyze, and evaluate user needs. Participate in fit/gap analysis of functional requirements and work with Project Managers to ensure compliance with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Provide estimates for Business Systems Analysts work efforts on new projects and for on-going forecasting. Facilitate functional requirements walkthroughs and respond to test team ambiguity review questions. Follow approved SDLC and project management methodology, ensuring that all required steps are followed, required deliverables are produced, and all approvals are attained.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or electronics engineering (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus six (6) years of experience leading and driving changes, including Agile methodology adoption and use case requirement development. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section unless otherwise stated) -- must possess the following: reviewing test cases to lead functional documentation design, applying knowledge of mainframe systems, COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2 queries, VSAM file structure and File Aid (6 years); facilitating functional requirements walkthroughs for insurance industry products, including pensions, income annuities, structured settlements in retirement, and income solutions (6 years); leading performance testing using JMeter and other tools to assess maximum production load for client's application; performing security testing using QTP, Selenium-TestNG, JIRA, QC, AQT, and Veracode to ensure that application security is not compromised in production; conducting behavior-driven and test-driven development in Agile or Scrum methodology (3 years); and leading IT project management.
