Role Value Proposition: 

Lead the Problem Investigation team and liaise between Business Partners, Application Development, Release Management and Testing Support teams to drive technical solutions to sophisticated customer issues. Prioritize incident and problem tickets for root cause investigations and remediation and coordinate root cause investigations, design, deployment, documentations, testing and release of the fixed application to production. Coordinate the software development process for code remediation, testing and production deployment. Approve and validate the results of the root cause analysis (RCA) and oversee complex investigations. Implement permanent solutions to recurring defects, validate and approve the design for remediation, review and test code for remediation, direct the team in providing small feature enhancements and verify changes with the business, and validate and approve user data change requests for remediation. Partner with the infrastructure team and the development team to fix issues in applications which are not functioning to its full capacity.    

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information system, or engineering (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience supporting Java based customer-facing applications. Specific skills/other requirements -- must possess the following: validating and approving design for remediation using J2EE, Java, Spring, JSP, SOAP, Web Services, Java Script, JQuery, DOJO, HTML and XML, Thymeleaf, AEM, AJAX, JPA, JDBC, DB2, MongoDB, SQL and Agile (5 years); monitoring and visualizing application infrastructure using Jira, Splunk, and AppDynamics (3 years); reviewing code remediation using SQL on relational databases, including Oracle and IBM UDB (3 years); creating complex applications and coordinating root cause investigations, design, deployment, and testing using Microservices, ZUUL, Grafana, Bamboo, Docker, Groovy, Grails, GitHub, and Bitbucket (2 years); and approving and validating RCA results (2 years).
