Role Value Proposition: 

The Director of Finance is a key role within the Global Technology & Operations (GTO) Finance Department supporting the IT Infrastructure Organization –GITO (+$500M, +2,000 employees).  The position will be serving as financial controller/FP&A lead providing financial and business advisory support.  As a valued contributor, this individual will spend a significant portion of time producing, analyzing and synthesizing financial information in order to make recommendations to senior management on financial risks and opportunities.   


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Works closely with management to coordinate and develop monthly forecast and annual budgets – key internal consulting resource.
  • Manages month end close including the creation of meaningful financial variance commentary. 
  • Partners with GTO and the business to create monthly forecasts.
  • Oversees lease accounting, budgeting, and forecasting including capitalization and amortization.
  • Collects data, uses financial systems to conduct performance analyses and makes recommendations and presents results.
  • Identifies and tracks cost reduction opportunities.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


  • 10 + years of financial analysis experience in finance-related assignments in a public or private company environment.   
  • At least 4-5 years leading people/projects and providing advice on IT applications and/or systems. 
  • Expert Excel and database management skills are required.
  • Flexibility to work with multiple demands, rapid changes and shifting priorities



  • Technology financial experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with Apptio, Peoplesoft and Oracle-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting practices, principles and strong understanding of project management techniques and ability to monitor progress against objectives.
