Role Value Proposition: 

The Director of Strategic Planning has the responsibility to lead and support the strategic planning process for the End User Technology Services organization. This role will lead the design, planning, orchestration, and implementation of the organization’s Global Technology Adoption program. The goal is to accelerate user adoption of key productivity enhancements and collaboration features across all functions within the End User Technology Services group. Along with the strategic responsibilities, this position is accountable for business administration management and key operational aspects for the organization. This includes participating in Audit reviews, coordinating accurate and timely responses to Management Action Plans, partnering with teams to manage Self-Identified Risks and to ensure timely and proper closure of all risk findings.  


This role will also oversee internal operational metrics and coordinate reporting of technology adoption, automation goals and participate in business planning. This also includes operational and expense management reporting, benchmarking, and performance measurement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the strategic planning process for the End User Technology Services group, bring an iterative approach to strategic planning, visiting department strategy regularly to remain aligned with the business and industry trends. 
  • Facilitate organizational Town Halls, leadership onsite and offsite meetings and manage the schedule for all key business activities across the organization. Plan and develop content for the Town Halls and leadership meetings, ensuring clear sequencing in messaging that aligns with the overall strategy.
  • Lead the design, planning, orchestration and implementation of the Global Technology Adoption program.  Partner with key stakeholders, End User Technology leadership team, strategic partners to implement a holistic program accelerating technology awareness and adoption globally.
  • Develop Program Governance and Communication Frameworks to drive transparency and provide a clear view into End User Technology Services issues and risks.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of key strategies, deliverables, and priorities, and uses that knowledge to represent the End User Technology Services organization with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop executive communications including presentations, as well as internal and external communications.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • 3+ years in End User Services, Marketing or Communication with a focus in driving technology adoptions
  • Effective organizational, analytical skills to drive and implement major technology adoption initiates 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills
  • Ability to motivate, influence and lead teams
  • Self-directed and highly motivated
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong project management and coordination skills
  • Strong interpersonal and consensus building skills


Experience and Education:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or Information Systems
  • 4+ Years of Project or Portfolio Management experience
