We are looking for a seasoned and experienced Quality Assurance Program Lead that will be part of a dynamic, energetic and collaborative team that is responsible for quality assurance activities pertaining to a new cloud-based insurance platform that is being built by MetLife.

    

Key Responsibilities:  

 

UAT Lead will be responsible for delivering on test planning and execution expectations, guiding grooming and building of Acceptance Criteria for Features and Epics by system team members, confirming environment management planning ensures availability and collision avoidance, ensuring appropriate test data management strategies are in place and prioritizing the work and focus to streamline execution activities through manual and automated approaches.  The individual will provide complete visibility into progress to plan, obstacles, and prioritization of work and ensure it is sequenced correctly. 

 

Individuals in this role create shared understanding and clarity to increase confidence in a quality solution delivery and provide the team with a clear view of their responsibilities. They share accountability with Product Managers for delivery outcomes and make decisions to solve product related problems.  In addition to employing best in class practices to manage testing efforts, the individual has a keen eye out for process improvement opportunities as well as avenues (automation, test data management, etc.) that can be explored to align better and further apply best in class agile development and release management guidelines.

 

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

 

Required:

  • Advanced knowledge (8 or more years of experience) of insurance industry specially in both voluntary and non voluntary group insurance products
  • Strong analytical, deductive, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to work with senior management and other stakeholders
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies
  • Superb organizational and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to balance multiple responsibilities and set appropriate priorities.
  • Leadership skills with the proven ability to lead, develop, inspire, and motivate.
  • Knowledge of SAFe Agile Development Model along with experience in testing roles and tasks

 

 

Preferred:

  • Experience working in Azure, JIRA or similar requirement management tools
  • Experience working with Quality Center, qTest or similar test management tools.
  • Experience with testing practices employed in a DevSecOps or CI/CD release management process

The wage range for this position specific to Colorado is ($85,700 to $114,300).  The role is eligible for incentive compensation under the MetLife Annual Variable Incentive Plan ("AVIP").  Your eligibility for and award of incentives are governed by the terms of the plan. The wage range for applicants for this position is $78,000 - $131,400. This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. MetLife offers a comprehensive benefits program, including healthcare benefits, life insurance, retirement benefits, parental leave, legal plan services and paid time off. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
