Job Location: Brighton - Hybrid working (minimum of 1 day a month office based)
12-month assignment

You’ll be joining a business that is expanding, cares about the community and the environment. You will get a 9% pension as standard, increasing to 13% company max contribution (plus your 4% = a 17% pension). Role Value Proposition:
To provide administrative support to Pricing Underwriters, operations, sales and external stakeholders for the Employee Benefits division. The candidate will be prepping the initial stage of requests for pricing from our customers.
This is a great position for someone who is keen to pursue a career within the underwriting team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Indexing of new and existing quotation requests
- Basic input sign off, either new or existing business
- Interpret information from customer requests and apply them to our standard procedures.
- Providing administrative support to Underwriters and answering queries for customers and other key stakeholders over the telephone and by email.
- Liaising with other internal departments within Sales & Operations as and when required.
- Completion of other, similar processes to support the overall team delivery.
- Ensure effective risk management is taken into account in all day-to-day activities, in accordance with ME risk policies, and escalate any areas of concern to line manager and where appropriate Risk Management function.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- An excellent eye for detail with high accuracy levels
- Strong organisational skills.
- Good communicator both in writing and verbally, comfortable in contacting customers over the phone.
- Strong educational grade for English and Mathematics
- Team Player with at least one year’s experience within the financial services industry
Preferred:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Keen to learn and proactively develop themselves.
- Enthusiastic and flexible.
