Role Value Proposition: 

This position is responsible for supporting the User Acceptance Testing effort for Retirement and Income Solutions (RIS).  Acts as a liaison between the business and IT personnel to support system enhancements and design activities until deployed to production and post-implementation testing has been completed. 


 Key Responsibilities:  

  • Under minimal supervision oversee small to midsize projects (within a larger program) that span across multiple areas, applications and functions, and/or products.
  • Develop and revise test plans, specifications, test cases and schedules and prepare test scripts.  Identify, track and help resolve defects.  Record test results on time and with quality.
  • Attend business requirements review sessions.
  • Ensure traceability from requirements, functional requirements and change requests to UAT test scenarios.
  • Support and participate in QA test scenario reviews to identify gaps.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for automation.
  • Ability to provide guidance to GSS UAT team.
  • Ensure sign off is received on UAT testing approach and testing results, from business experts and partners.
  • Manage testing timelines and progress independently.
  • Communicate status, defects and progress clearly and consistently.  Create or update reports with status as needed.
  • Plan, Facilitate, or assist with meetings as needed to accomplish individual, team and/or project goals. 
  • Ability to identify risks and issues, collaborate and partner with others and proactively plan to mitigate.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:



  • Problem Solving and Strong Analytical Skills
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing process and methodologies (E2E, Waterfall, Agile, Risk-based, Regression) and when to leverage each
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work tight deadlines to maximize results
  • Ability to work as a partner with various individuals/teams/vendor, as needed
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills with positive attitude
  • Proven ability to multi-task



  • Working knowledge of supported RIS Business products and processes
  • Experince with pension and annuities products
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 3-4 years related work experience
  • Knowledge of JIRA application
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
