Role Value Proposition: 

The Senior Metrics Consultant II serves as main point of contact for National Accounts to report and verify accuracy of sales results. The role is also responsible for:

  • Reviewing and reconciling reported estimates against actual revenues.
  • Providing data reporting, analysis, and trending.
  • Determining validity of data and providing supporting explanations of conclusions reached.
  • Ensuring data integrity, format, collection and presentation of reporting results.
  • Potentially supporting financial analysis/reporting and the integrity of financial data by reviewing results of established financial processes [div calc reviews].


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Tracks, analyzes and reports financial metrics information for a National Accounts. 
  • Provides data analysis, trending, observations and recommendations for review by senior management.
  • Presents results and analysis to management and senior leadership for business reviews and/or operational updates.
  • Consults with business leaders to determine data reporting, analysis, and timing for current and future.
  • Researches requests and downloads data in order to prepare exhibits, summaries, presentations, and/or reports for use by senior leadership.
  • Runs ad hoc reports on schedule and provides data analysis prior to delivery.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and other related applications 
  • Tracks and analyzes data that impact both short- and long-term business planning.
  • Maintains databases, ensures integrity of data, and remains current on applicable business functions and technology tools.
  • Exhibits and is recognized for a high-level of financial or business expertise gained through ongoing career development.
  • Supports coworkers as a key internal consulting resource.
  • Ensures effective communications with all business levels and relationships.
  • May act as project lead.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc…)
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work autonomously or with others to effectively handle multiple tasks, ability to prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible
  • Advanced accounting/math problem solving skills, including attention to detail, analytical thinking and decisiveness


  • BS/BA degree is strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred
  • MS Access experience is a plus
