Role Value Proposition:
The Senior Client Services Consultant provides customer service and administrative support to large Federal Government group insurance clients. This position has complete ownership and accountability for day-to-day customer satisfaction and problem solving. The role supports the client account team, including the Client Services Director and Account Executives, to manage customer relationships and
expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides all aspects of servicing for Federal Government customers (i.e. account administration and management, various customer related projects, administrative reports and contracts).
- Provides consultative plan design analysis, reporting and recommendations.
- Coordinates and participates in client strategy meetings, sales strategy meetings, and the strategic planning process.
- Responds to government solicitations and may participate in finalist presentations.
- Provides project management, leadership, and support to implement group insurance products to new or existing Federal Government customers.
- Partners with our marketing department to produce benefit communications to improve enrollment growth.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
- Understanding of account management principles, consultative responsibilities, and responsiveness, which may include administration, contracts, account management and project management, or similar or proven expertise in these areas.
- Strong leadership capability; self-motivated, decisive, high energy and results driven individual.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills. The ability to present and communicate effectively, conveying complex ideas. Convey relevant information in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills: Technically savvy and agile.
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and flexibility.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 + years’ experience in a customer service or client facing environment
- 3 + years of group insurance core product knowledge (Dental, Life, Vision, and Disability)
- Vast Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Teams. As well as Webex and Project software packages.
Preferred:
- Dual experience in administrative and finance
- Knowledge of Federal contracting
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (“FAR”)
