Job Summary:

The Business Procedures Consultant provides communications support for the product development team. In this role he/she will partner with the leadership group and a team of subject matter experts to assist in the delivery of MetLife products and services to the marketplace.

 

Functional Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage internal sales materials and customer education materials including subject matter expert collaboration, legal review, and internal distribution
  • Work with creative agency for special design projects and other product-related field communication needs
  • Plan and coordinate all leadership meetings and business review meetings
  • Manage vendor relationships and day-to-day activities via internal mailbox
  • Support Photoshop and design needs
  • Create employee communications for senior leadership
  • Prepare agenda, reports or presentations for senior level management meetings
  • Coordinate complex or highly visible events – i.e. team offsites

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

 

Required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical skills
  • Microsoft Office (Intermediate level abilities)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, including investigation as needed with timely follow up
  • Flexibility, ability to adapt easily  as priorities and needs change

 

Preferred:

  • Basic Photoshop experience
  • 2+ years of relevant business experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related discipline

Job Summary: Leads the effort to develop and implement new or revised processes, procedures, initiatives. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation, provide a single point of contact for assigned projects. Define project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.

Functional Responsibilities: Oversees all aspects of small projects and/or phases of larger projects to implement new and/or modified processes, procedures, and/or initiatives Translates business needs into requirements. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Runs or assists with project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Provides updates to business leadership regarding project status and the application and implementation of new or revised procedures, processes, and/or initiatives. Designs, implements, and monitors the progress of initiatives, milestones, and budgets to ensure timeliness and deliverables are met. Manages critical relationships with consultants and vendors, internal end users, and business customers/leadership. May provide information and/or training to end users to help resolve inquiries related to assigned processes, procedures, and/or initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned or required

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Typical Experience: 3-4 years of related work experience. Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
