Role Value Proposition:

The Center of Excellence (CoE) within Group Benefits Product area is focused on helping drive growth of the EB business in countries and markets such as MetLife Worldwide Benefits through the development of tools and technology. This position will be part of the CoE team and will be responsible for managing the global tools utilized by regions and countries achieve their goals. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of Global Wellness toolkits utilized by global markets including:
    • Maintain overall relationship between the Wellness vendor and MetLife
    • Oversee and lead relationship development, deployment and maintenance activities for the global contract
    • Support the global markets in SOW development and deployment Wellness program  
    • Ongoing maintenance and updates of Wellness toolkits
  • Ownership of the Global Product Catalog including:
    • Periodic reviews with global markets and Legal on current EB product offerings
    • Ongoing updates and maintenance of the Global Product Catalog
  • Oversee GEB Salesforce.com global market teams tform including:
    • Partner with GOSC resource on BAU, insuring user issues are resolved within SLA
    • Planning and implementation of enhancements and improvements to the platform
    • Conduct quarterly meetings with global markets to review metrics, assess training needs and share best practices
  • Manages, builds and drives critical relationships with IT, consultants and vendors, internal end users and corporate customers and leadership
  • May be responsible for overseeing GOSC and external consulting resources that will be added to augment the team providing day to day guidance and direction to ensure execution results
  • Partner with Product and US Marketing to develop creative assets & messaging that support the Small & Specialty Business Group Benefits BU and marketing objectives; also includes working with Legal and Compliance as needed.

 

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with complex reporting structures, influencing decisions and managing resources from across multiple disciplines within the enterprise
  • Awareness of global business practices and ability to adapt communication approach to different regions and markets, taking local languages and cultures in consideration
  • Resourceful, strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, excellent written and verbal communications skills - must be able to communicate effectively internally with functionally and geographically diverse teams and externally with clients, brokers, partners and intermediaries
  • Ability to present recommendations into a concise format for executive leaders
  • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt well to ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Knowledge of technology system processes, reporting functions and methodologies
  • 5+ years of relevant business experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

 

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com and SharePoint a plus
  • Successful track record of planning and leading small to mid-size projects
  • Previous experience in international employee benefits and/or product development a plus
