Role Value Proposition

The HS&SA Service Consultant is responsible for providing internal advanced product, process and operational support and exceptional service to group HS&SA customers in partnership with MetLife’s COE, Implementation, Service, Vendor Mgmt., and WEX operational teams.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Delivers advanced levels of consultative support for the HS&SA product suite in partnership with the MetLife COE, Implementation, Service, Vendor Mgmt., and WEX operational teams.
  • Provides oversight of plan design, case structure, and customer specific processes, with a focus on complex and / or custom requirements.
  • Thoroughly investigates and responds promptly to elevated participant and/or group customer escalations funneled through the MetLife COE, Implementation, Service, Vendor Mgmt., and / or WEX operational teams.
  • Consults with the Service teams prior to customer meetings to review any service and operational concerns. Provide analysis and opportunities to rectify service issues to improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Performs root cause analysis, identifies trends and proactively collaborates with internal partners to rectify broader service and operational issues to enhance the service satisfaction of our customers.
  • Assists in the development, implementation and training of improved service and operational processes to meet and enhance the service satisfaction of our customers.
  • Prepares quarterly reports with a view of overall customer experience, including any open and resolved issues.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills 

Required:

  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years group Product experience including strong knowledge of other Employee Benefit Programs and Health Savings & Spending Accounts.
  • Effective communication, organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management & work prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive results partnering with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Well-developed relationship building skills both internally & externally.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office software.

 

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and prior client service experience.
