Role Value Proposition:
Provides customer service, financial, and administrative support to one or more large group insurance clients. Works with account team, Account Executive and other internal partners to manage the customer relationship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall accountability for: Fielding client requests, leading projects, providing clients with alternative solutions, identifying possible plan design alternatives, acting as a liaison between the client and internal MetLife teams.
- Collaborates to drive problem resolution and troubleshooting.
- Provides exceptional customer service to support ongoing customer delivery and client satisfaction.
- Leads and participates in both customer- and internal-facing presentations and meetings.
- Participates in client account audits and strategic planning process.
- Responsible for monitoring the key financial parameters of internal management reporting and capable of proactively identifying discrepancies, trends and results that would impact Customer Unit financial objectives.
- Delivers ongoing financial reporting, developing custom reporting based on client requirements. Prepares year-end financial accounting and ERISA reporting.
- Accountable for the completion of monthly bank reconciliation reports, including monitoring client activity.
- Responsible for client billing, reconciliation, and partnering with internal and external contacts to ensure billing is entered accurately and timely.
- Understands and can articulate specifics around revenue and earnings.
- Leads and coordinates implementation of MetLife products.
- Participates in strategy meetings, establishes specific processes and reports, reviews contract documents, completes broker agreements, creates process manuals, and inputs and ensures accurate input of data in MetLife systems.
- Maintains awareness and knowledge of MetLife’s and competitors’ products and trends.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Group Benefits core products, particularly Legal Plans, Pet Insurance and Auto & Home
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong project management skills including problem solving, attention to detail, analytical thinking and decisiveness
- Ability to work autonomously; effectively handle multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible
- Ability to balance client expectations with MetLife capabilities
- Self-motivated to learn more about the business and is proactive in personal development

The wage range for applicants for this position is $70,200 - $93,600. This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation.
