This role will provide exemplary customer service by processing group disability income insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner. 

    

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Coaches, coordinates, and develops claims specialists.
  • Acts as resources for claim-related and technical issues.
  • Monitors case managers' work queues to ensure claims team is meeting expectations and applicable performance guarantees.
  • Conducts weekly quality audits; assists with training; resolves escalated phone calls.
  • Provides feedback to unit managers on individuals' performance. 
  • May provide guidance to junior staff members. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • High School diploma
  • 5+ yrs. insurance claims experience.

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ yrs. insurance claims experience.
  • Strong customer satisfaction focus.
