This role Develops and issues contracts in order to achieve all regulatory compliance. Consults with actuarial, legal, sales, marketing, underwriting, claims and administrative staff to identify product specifications and issue requirements in connection with product development, product updates and changes in laws and regulations. Manage contract issuance process through the contract issue system.

   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists analysts administrative aspects of generating basic contract documents and maintaining filing documentation.
  • May assist with the analysis of product plan designs and provisions to ensure contract accuracy.
  • Exercises analytical and research to analyze and validate regulatory comments during approval process

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • High school diploma
  • 3 years of relevant experience

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of insurance industry, product lines, and policy provisions.
  • Moderate knowledge of policy form filing requirements.
  • Moderate knowledge of contracts.
  • Strong customer focus
