Global Technology & Operations (GTO) includes over 17,000 associates across 42 countries Service our customers in operations and global customer call centers where we deliver global support services, including global real estate, global corporate security, and global innovation.  This role, for a Client Service Consultant I, will deliver exceptional customer service, serve as a liaison between clients and MetLife internal departments, resolve client inquires and develop and maintain proficiency in the following core skill areas: account and project management, problem resolution, implementation, billing, complex claim issue resolution, and customer service.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Overall accountability for day-to-day support of multiple clients.
  • Prepares and completes more complex accounting processes, calculations and reports.
  • Primary contact for a large number of clients or a medium to large distribution channel
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
  • Responsible for key clients. Participates in new client implementations
  • Integrates into our natural work team model

  • Highly motivated and ability to build solid long term relationships with customers



Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


  • High School diploma
  • 3+ yrs. related experience
  • Basic knowledge of Excel – data formulas, premium calculation formulas, and basic editing.
  • Must be highly organized
  • Ability to work across multiple technology platforms 


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ yrs. related experience
  • Strong customer satisfaction focus.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel – pivot tables, vlookup, etc.
