Role Value Proposition: 


The Sales Support role, part of the ICG AxJ team, is responsible for supporting the ICG sales team throughout the sales and service processes to initiate and develop new investor relationships, secure capital commitments for the products of MIM platform, support all facets of client relationship management and cross-sales and continuously serve the clients.

The role fulfils a critical function within the business, primarily responsible for supporting the ICG team in the region for fast growing objective. The MIM business is part of a broader strategic initiative of MetLife, Inc. to increase fee-based revenues and diversify revenue streams.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the team proactively in all aspects of sales efforts and relationship management. Primary client contact for clients for ongoing investment related activities, including ad hoc questions and access to broader platform.
  • Handle request and respond to enquiries from clients, prospects and internal stakeholders. Coordination of and active participation in client meetings, portfolio reviews and due diligence meetings (scheduling, attending, notes, follow ups)
  • Assist in reporting, translation, interpretation and RFI/RFP submissions.
  • Liaise with relevant internal and external partners on workflow enhancement, marketing, compliance and regulatory-related projects.
  • Coordinate and assist with roadshows and events planning.
  • Assist the team to coordinate across region, time zone and other functional areas of the business to facilitate a collaborative approach to winning mandates.
  • Develop and maintain understanding of MIM organizational structure, products and services.
  • Identification of cross-sale opportunities – understanding of products to be able to assess/generate interest; work with senior salesperson to close.



Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in institutional sales or business development support role.
  • Self-starter who is a quick learner, responsive, reliable, well-organized and detailed-oriented.
  • A high level of proficiency in English and Korean.
  • Exceptional aptitude for accuracy, following up on assigned tasks.
  • Undergraduate degree required





Business travel within Asia ex-Japan may be required to meet with clients and prospective clients
