Role Value Proposition: 

Responsible for providing day to day client services and administrative support to brokers throughout the implementation stages of new structured settlement annuities.


Key  Responsibilities:


  • Under general supervision, perform day-to-day tasks around implementation processing of new structured settlement annuities:
    • Ensure that commissions are released within service standards with receipt of required documentation
      • Determine if a case falls under a split broker agreement, and if so ensure that all split broker documentation is in order and commission is allocated appropriately per the agreement
    • Ensure that First Payments for newly installed cases are initiated prior to the First Payment due
    • Ensure contract/certificates are issued within service standards with receipt of final required documentation
      • Review and approve the accuracy of the documentation received to determine if errors or shortcomings exist in documentation, or the language of the documentation creates unnecessary risk exposure for MetLife, and request corrections from the broker as needed
    • Ensure that "Partial and Full" refunds are released timely with receipt of required documentation
    • Obtain additional good order documentation as needed from brokers
    • Update systems with deposit information, commission information, case installation and revision information, revision information, and other information as needed
  • Respond to external and internal requests for information within service standards.
  • Review and approve/deny settlement documentation and proposed settlement wording submitted by brokers and obtain corrections as needed from the brokers
    • Determine if errors or shortcomings exist, or the language of the documentation creates unnecessary risk exposure for MetLife, and request corrections from the broker as needed
  • Establish and foster a positive customer relationship with designated brokers to provide optimal levels of service and ensure future sales
    • Serve as the single point of contact for designated brokers throughout the new business process and handle all customer service issues for the broker
  • Assist team members and perform quality review of their work
  • Route incoming case documentation to team members for review, approval, and signatures.

  • Knowledge of A&I Operations
    • Can identify the major A&I product categories and the major activities of the operations and administrative support process.
    • Understands basic principles, processes, and terminology of the A&I business.

    • Ensure their accuracy and validity
    • Extract pertinent information


Education, Certifications, Licenses and Experience:
