The Investment Data Integrity Operations Analyst will be responsible to perform the daily, monthly and year end activities in our US office to support the Global Investment Platforms. Candidates must possess a general knowledge of investment instruments and related data attributes. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will also participate in project initiatives related to data quality.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Perform daily quality checks to ensure accurate, complete, reliable, relevant and timely data.
  • Construct various security types in the Aladdin trade management and analytics system.
  • Reconciliation of security generated principal/income related cash breaks between Aladdin portfolios and MIM’s Investment book of record (BNYM/IBOR)
  • Document standard data integrity processes and procedures.
  • Work with various units to gather information and address data issue.
  • Monitor and action data integrity checks at start and end of each day.
  • Responsible for identifying and troubleshooting data quality issues reported by end users.
  • Partner with team members across the organization to understand, identify and address data quality issues

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • 1-2 years of operations experience in the Financial Services industry, Capital Markets or Investment Products (Fixed Income & equity securities).

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology as well as any other related field of expertise.
  • Experience with Aladdin, Reference Data Platforms, Bloomberg or other Investment platforms.
  • Advanced problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Leadership skills are a to support the business
  • Ability to collaborate within a small team.
  • Strong understanding of investment operations support, reporting, data integrity and fixed income and equity securities analytics.
  • Analyze, reconcile and resolve cash differences to determine root cause of principal and income breaks.
